Fuel Line Replacement On A Snow Blower

by Jeremy HIPA 20 Dec 2022 0 Comments

This blog is a step-by-step instruction for replacing the fuel line on a Troy Bilt snowblower. The most common reasons for replacing the fuel line is when the snowblower is leaking gas.

Replacement

Before you begin the replacement, we recommend performing this procedure with no fuel in the tank and be sure to remove the snowblower start key from the ignition.
Step 1: Your first step is to release the clamp securing the fuel line to the carburetor and pull the fuel line off. This may require some effort.
Step 2: Next, release the clamp securing the opposite end of the fuel line to the gas tank. Pull the fuel line off and set it aside.
Step 3: Install the new fuel line by first transferring the clamps from the old part to the new one. Now slide the new fuel line over the tank port and secure it with the clamp. Attach the opposite end of the fuel line to the carburetor and secure the clamp.
With the new fuel line installed, you can now return the start key to the ignition and you snow blower should be ready for use.
