Air Filter Replacement On A Leaf Blower

by Jeremy HIPA 09 Jan 2023 0 Comments

This blog is a step-by-step instruction for replacing the air filter on an Echo leaf blower. The most common reasons for replacing the air filter are when the leaf blower won’t start or runs poorly.

Replacement

Before you begin the replacement, you need to make sure the engine has cooled. You also need to remove the wire and boot from the spark plug to prevent the engine from accidentally starting.

Step 1: Unthread the screws to release the air filter cover.
Step 2: Remove the old filter.
Step 3: Install the new air filter by positioning it inside the air filter gasket.
Step 4: Replace the cover and thread the screws to secure.

With the repair completed, reattach the wire in boot to the spark plug and your leaf blower should be ready for use.
